INSTALLATION

Installation of our systems is relatively straightforward for a trained or competent installer following the instructions exactly as described in the supplied manual. This is due to the aforementioned special design of the HID capsule bases as well as the unique connection system for the control boxes and wiring that makes it virtually impossible to incorrectly connect and install the system.

As a general 'rule of thumb' if you can install a stereo system you can install one of our HID systems.

Below is also a table of typical installation times for some popular car models (please note these are estimates only and are subject to variation depending on each individual car).

Note: No separate power feeds or splicing into original power loom are required and our installations are 100% reversible should you wish to revert back to halogen when selling the car or for any other reason.

IMPORTANT!!.

The entire HID system must be pre-tested BEFORE breaking the seals of the HID capsule boxes, or the dealer warranty will be void. If a HID capsule is found to be faulty AFTER its seal has been broken, this becomes an 'End User Warranty claim'. To make an End User claim, you must first register the HID kit with your registered authorised distributor and then return the complete HID kit to the distributor and / or manufacturer for inspection, before any decision can be made on warranty coverage. We will accept NO responsibility for any damage resulting from improper handling, negligence, accidents, product modifications, or abnormal use.

We have an extensively appointed workshop where you can get your HID lighting system fitted.

1.  Front storage area, de-carpeted and headlamp units removed, ready for installation.
 2.  Ballast units fitted to chassis leg within front storage space.
3. Nearside headlamp unit with Xenon capsules and igniters fitted.
  4. Offside lamp unit re-fitted to wing.
5. Ballast units fitted offside and near side.
  6. View into offside wing, showing location of  igniter units for this side, using existing threaded earth point as mounting.
